Assist to Ann Arbor PD for Armed Robbery

Date and Time:

Armed Robbery occurred at approximately 6:30am on 4/23/2019 at the Shell Gas Station on Jackson Ave in Ann Arbor Michigan. The vehicle was located and stopped by Van Buren County Sheriff’s Deputies at approximately 8:43am.

52.6 mile marker on I-94 Hwy in Lawrence Township County of Van Buren

27yr old Male out of Chicago IL

28yr old Male out of Chicago IL

25yr old Female out of Ann Arbor MI

Vehicle:

2016 Volkswagen Passat Silver in color

Narrative:

Sheriff Daniel Abbott reports that at approximately 6:30 am on 4/23/2019 an armed robbery occurred at the Shell Gas Station on Jackson Ave in Ann Arbor MI. Ann Arbor PD sent out an area wide BOL for the suspect vehicle. The vehicle in question was a silver VW Passat with an Illinois registration. The vehicle was believed to be occupied by three individuals and one of them was seen in possession of a hand gun. The vehicle was located by Van Buren County Sheriff’s Deputies patrolling I-94 highway near mile marker 60. A traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle at the 52.6 mile marker. The three occupants were detained on scene. Located on the suspects and inside the vehicle was evidence of the armed robbery from Ann Arbor. The three occupants were turned over to Ann Arbor Police Department.
