SUSPECTS / ARRESTED: Brian Jackson, 40 year old male, from Coloma, MI

Michelle Faultersack, 41 year old female, from Coloma, MI

CHARGES:

Felony - Delivery of Methamphetamine

Felony – Possession of Methamphetamine

Misdemeanor - Driving with suspended drivers license (DWLS)

Misdemeanor - Furnish false information to a Police Officer

INFORMATION:

Sheriff Daniel E. Abbott reports that the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit conducted an investigation into the sale/distribution of methamphetamine (ICE) taking place in the Keeler Township / Sister Lakes area of Van Buren County. After approximately a two month long investigation, narcotics detectives were able to obtain felony drug warrants for Jackson and Faultersack, for the sale/delivery of methamphetamine. On Tuesday 10/09/2018 Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives along with deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Response division were able to locate and arrest Jackson in Keeler Township, Van Buren County, on the outstanding warrants. During the arrest of Jackson an additional quantity of suspected methamphetamine was located on his person. It was also determined that Jackson had supplied arresting officers a false name in an attempt to conceal his true identity and that his drivers license was currently suspended. Jackson was lodged at the Van Buren County Jail on the felony warrants for sale / delivery of methamphetamine along with additional charges of: possession of methamphetamine, Driving with a suspended drivers license (DWLS) and furnishing false information to a police officer.

On the same date of Tuesday 10/09/2018, Narcotics detectives along with a deputy from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office, officers from the Coloma Township Police Department and deputies from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate and arrest Faultersack in Coloma Township, Berrien County, on the outstanding warrants. Faultersack was lodged at the Van Buren County Jail on the felony warrants for sale / delivery of methamphetamine

The incident will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
